Hi, I’m Lauren—founder of Liora.

I started this brand with a simple but personal hope: to create jewelry that lasts—beautifully, meaningfully, and for a long time. The kind of piece you reach for again and again, not just because it looks good, but because it holds something—your story, a moment, a memory.

The name Liora means “light” in Hebrew. That word has carried so much meaning for me.  Light doesn’t just brighten—it pushes back darkness. Even the smallest light changes what’s around it. It brings clarity, hope, and direction. That’s the kind of light we’re called to live with—not loud or flashy, but steady and real.

There’s a verse that has shaped the heart of this brand:

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

That truth—that you already carry light—is what I want Liora to quietly remind you of. Jewelry might seem small, but when it holds meaning, it becomes part of the way we carry ourselves through the world. It becomes a little anchor. A marker of love, strength, growth, or simply where you’ve been.
