Our Story

How it all started

The Beginning

Liora started in early 2025, not as a brand but as a search.

After graduating, I was trying to build a fine jewelry collection of my own. Many of the pieces I had from larger brands had already started to tarnish or lose their finish. I wanted pieces I could invest in, ones I could wear every day and still feel good in years later.

I have always loved business, and as I learned more about jewelry, something clicked. The more I understood it, the more I cared about building something that lasts. That feeling solidified after visiting the DTLA Jewelry District and realizing this was something I could build.

The Early Phase

The first version of Liora was a mix of experimentation.

I was designing some pieces, but also curating others that felt aligned with the brand. I took inspiration from designers I admired (and still do), while slowly building confidence in my own point of view.

There was a lot of trial and error, but over time, that process became clearer. The goal has always been to move toward pieces that are fully designed and shaped by me.

The Shift

Seeing someone wear a piece that came from my own design—something that started as an idea—was so surreal. It made me realize how much I wanted Liora to grow into something more personal.

At the same time, I’ve come to appreciate that jewelry is a shared space. Designers are always inspired by what exists around them, but there’s still room to create something that feels entirely your own.

"I don’t think about my favorite pieces, I just keep wearing them."

Behind the Scenes

Liora has been built from the ground up.

I’ve gotten to learn everything from product photography, lighting, editing, copywriting, website building, sourcing stones, and understanding the ins and outs of the jewelry industry.

It can be tough starting young in an industry where it feels like everyone is ahead. But I’ve learned that everyone starts somewhere—and what matters most is the willingness to keep learning and to keep showing up.

The Vision

Liora exists because I wanted to build something more approachable—without sacrificing quality—and to be open about how pieces are made, where they come from, and what you’re really investing in.

I also wanted to create pieces for people who are just starting their collection—pieces that feel personal, not intimidating.

And more than anything, I want people to feel beautiful wearing them—like they’re carrying a small piece of light with them.

Thank You

For being part of Liora!
